About the only thing I could tell you is, to read this site, and the owners manual and do all the maint. you can on your car. When it is running good, then you can start moding it.
The people on here are good, so read what they have to say! The big key to a good running car is maintenance! The fact that you even knew there was a bushing in the carb. tells me your savvy, and know what your doing!! You just need knowledge, and your abilities will take over!
G1's are one of the best carts out there, so you have a good base to work from!!
