Anyone with an EMP motor - did you pay to get the high speed banding? After a conversation with EMP - they said that the Advanced DC motor (stock) had a tendency to come apart under some of the higher loads as placed by an upgraded controller.

The 99 that I am building now will have the stock controller - maybe forever. Just trying to figure out if its worth it.

Anyone with any experience?
