I would take off the drive belt, remove the primay clutch cap and inspect the 3 weights for wear. If good, grease it. Push the clutch in, zerk fitting at 12 o'clock, shoot 1 shot of grease, then rotate the clutch so the zerk is at 6 o'clock, wipe off any grease that came out of the weep/seal hole (only want grease on the sliding sheave bushings, not on the weights and pins!). G2's didn't come with a zerk fitting on the secondary sliding sheave (unless it's been upgraded) If no zerk, disassembly is required. If it does have a zerk fitting, a coulle shots of grease and your good to go. Unless the sliding sheave bushing is worn out. Good luck
