Yes indeed. You need a 3/4 inch fine thread hard steel bolt 2 inches long and a 5/8th steel rod 3 inches long. Now you remove the bolt in the center of the clutch and drop the rod into the center. Now screw in the bolt. As you wind in the bolt it will force the clutch off the taper. Well that's the theory in practice the clutch will be a tight fit and there will be much blood sweat and tears on your part. The good news is that it can be done so just plug in there. Of course your life will be infinitely easier if you have access to an impact wrench. BTW you can also buy the tool for about $40 but the bits cost <$10 and in my book cheap = best.
