Being that your engine has a pressurized oil system I would not drive it till you get the angle right. If you have the ability to weld I would make a drop angle bracket and bolt it together though the original bolt hole. Then when your happy with the position and angle -- weld the upper joint on the frame solid.

That is the way I have envisioned doing it BUT never acted on it and so far my VC 460 seems OK with it. As Shepard said I don't think something with an oil pump would be happy with much angle. Also I only have a 4" lift. I never have seen all those VC drawings of the various engine cradles before.

As long as the heims are beefy enough and collars/bushings were used, yes it would be stable and give nice articulation.

I really like Vegas Carts EZGO cradle kit. I was thinking of swapping mine out in the G1 for that one, and converting it to 4 link type suspension. I have all the parts for the links. I would think this would work in just about any cart and be a pretty good improvement in ride quality.

After studying on it I’m thinking the CPP cradle will work fine for this

How much does that lower the front of the engine? It looks like it will drop both the front and rear of the engine, correct? If so, that won't level your engine, it will just drop it.
