2009 48v precedent speed code 4
Looking for input on getting speed code 4. 09 precedent 48 volt excel 4-12volt batt. Batts are Duracell new last summer. Right now I'm pulling 15mph steady on stock wheels and lift. I'm guessing I have code 3 then. Will code 4 be worth $125 and what speeds should I see? Thanks

Spend a little more and get the bandit motor now. If not you will likely get it later after you have spent the 125.00 then the 225.00 for the bandit.

Re: 2009 48v precedent speed code 4
I've had the PQ Bandit but looking back in hindsight I think I should have went with the speed magnet to start with. It would have done the same thing. But don't take that bad because I loved the PQ until I needed more.

Also, what type of speed you seeing with a bandit? Website states 25% but if I can get 19.6 with the sm4 that's about 35% more. Could I do bandit and sm4?

Re: 2009 48v precedent speed code 4
Oops missed the excel part. I did the sc4 and bandit and I got 25 (maybe 27 downhill) from the start but mine was a IQ. At that time I was getting it street legal and it had to go 20-25mph. I didn't want to sign any legal papers and be lying.

The 22mph was not fast enough for me so I modified my CC as shown in my signature line. Good Luck! |

The bandit motor will get you more than sc4 with more torque. Just call them and let them explain what they have. That part is free.
