Just had the same issues with my 36v ez go. You probably have a bad switch in the control circuit. Best I could tell the control power goes from the charger port to the f/r switches, to the foot pedal switch, to the key switch, and then to the solenoid to activate it...note, the pedal switch is normally closed.

Does your reverse buzzer work? Have you tried pushing it to see if it resists movement and beeps at you?
You didn't give much details, so I am going to assume it's a newer sepex txt that was already 48v, not a 36v cart that has been converted to 48v.

Check this out - you have to have 48v (+) on every red line on this little diagram when you try to go.

Solenoid should click when you try to go.... remove the cover and inspect for wire or connection damage.

solenoid does not engage when peddle is pushed, has 48v to +coil term on solenoid. If - term to ground solenoid engages. cart still won't move

solenoid does not click when peddle. Have 48v at +term. When -term to gnd solenoid clicks cart does not move. all wiring has be been inspected and tested to sch. Replaced controller still same result.

You are certain the main contacts close on the solenoid when it clicks - not just making noise?
If yes test the motor.

yes the solenoid's main contact closes when - term is shorted to gnd. The normal ground is controled by the controller. That is why I ordered and replaced controller. Still had same result.
