Default 2012 txt 48 no go

My cart won't do anything. I've tested pack and solenoid and I have 48.6 on both. Is it the controller? I literally parked it yesterday and it won't hit a lick today.

48.6 is dead. Charge it up, you should be seeing over 50v on a 48v cart. 50.9v is 100% charged but you may have issues getting that high a voltage if the batteries are frequently left discharged like they are now.

My charger was giving me issues and now I can only get to 50.1v so it's possible your charger is a problem if you have been charging it and can't get a decent charge. Or it may be your batteries are just old and tired.

Either way, full charge it and see what it does.

I agree. How old are the batteries? And do you load test the batteries or just read with a meter? Charger could be a problem but I’m willing to bet it’s more of a battery issue. You parked it yesterday but did you plug the charger in overnight?

The cart is the best load tester made. Connect the Voltmeter to the pack and try to go. If the voltage drops by 8v then you have a bad battery (ies).

If the pack does not drop when you try to go and the solenoid does not click you have a solenoid activation failure and there may be no power to the controller.

Print out the attachment and check that there is 48v + at each end of every wire represented by a red line on the diagram starting at the battery. (lower left) Tell us where the power stops.

Power on pack did not drop when pedal depressed. I held power at every connection except reverse buzzer. Also when I checked power on 16 pin plug I checked it on plug side not controller side is this correct?

Sounds like it should be going - check your F&R switch out.

Did you jack the cart up and try to jump the solenoid out? Also I’m not saying this will always be the case but does the controller have a bad electrical smell to it?
