EZGO RXV install rear brakes
I have a 2010 EZGO RXV electric I was wondering if anybody out there has install rear brakes to assist the motor brake on stopping could I put the same brakes that are on a gas RXV on electric axel thanks for any help that you can give me

There is no mounting flange to attach traditional brakes to. To answer your question, yes I have added ausco disc brakes to a Rxv electric axle, it required making flanges, and welding them to the axle. I also had to get lots of "gas Rxv" parts from the pedal box and cables. (To allow the park brake latch to work, and cables) I needed parking brake because I was not using a Rxv controller or motor.
