Default Precedent Speed Upgrade Options

Hey!

I am new to the golf cart game and first time on a forum for it. I have a 2012 Club Car 48V and I've narrowed down my google and YouTube'ing to doing the Plum Quick Bandit upgrade. Are there other options that are better or faster for the money currently? Is Plum Quick the place to go?

Supposed to go about 26-28 with just a direct swap on a 265 dollar swap out which seems like great bang for the buck.

Appreciate any help!

I'm interested to know the same. I just picked up a 2018 and looks like it will only get up to 13 mph with myself and two kids in the cart. Would like to be able to do 20 with wife and both kids.

A lot more options then just that. On a Regen cart a controller gives you the most options and returns. But there are lots of other possibilities. Look here https://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/u...ages-precedent

The end goal is to also get a controller (navitas or something like that) from my limited research.

Do you have personal experience or input on Plum Quick motors?

PQ makes a great motor, but they're not the only ones out there

A simple Alltrax controller swap can net you 20-30% more power and 22-23mph on stock tires and wheels or 25-26mph on taller tires.
The bandit motor is a great choice for some but, it's a reworked stock motor and there are many purpose built motors available for a little more. Good Luck with your search.

Yeah,

I called the link from the post above, seem like cool guys.

I think the current plan is to do the QP Bandit swap (26ish mph) and then do the 440Amp Navitas Package later on to regain some torque and tuning abilities.

Could you recommend a few?

Looking for purely speed (flat Florida land and on pavement)

I'm looking after the same. I've read lots of reviews on the Bandit. For a little more money you could do much better with an Admiral MOT 2. That's what I'll be purchasing.

Can you elaborate on much better? Its MPH rating is less than the Bandit for my motor ( 26-28 ) > 24.

With that being said I have no idea on the torque ratings for either.
