97 48volt clubcar series wired wont go
The only way I can get the cart to move is jump across the 2 large terminals on the solinoid. The small terminal that has 2 wires has voltage on it. Any ideas will be helpful. I did replace the soliniod with a new one because of this problem. With it jumped and tires off ground I mash the pedal and it will go in either direction like it should.

yes, it still won't go with the new one unless I jump the two large terminals together. Is it possible the new one is no good?

It is likely your solenoid activation circuit is not working... With the key on, cart in gear, peddle depressed; do you have pack voltage between the 2 small terminals on the solenoid?

Put the 2 test leads on the 2 terminals and retest? = pack voltage across the 2 small terminals? I bet not

Re: 97 48volt clubcar series wired wont go
You need positive power on the yellow wire to activate the solenoid...... go get the old one out of the trash
Some body who knows more about a 97 CC will be along soon to help you sort it out. Good Luck |

Go up into the stickies at the top of this section and find the wiring diagram for your cart~ Print it out and start studying up on that circuit.
