Default What am I missing and can I bypass it?

I have a 1995 Club Car serial #A9549-477161. On the frame right behind the seat there are 2 screw holes about 5 inches apart where there appears to have had something mounted and there are 6 small wires with 2 different size ends. From one wire harness that goes to the charger outlet there a yellow wire and a red one. From the other harness that has a large blue wire there is a red wire and a white wire with a black stripe. There is also a red wire and a green one. Does anyone know what part is missing and is there a way to check to see if my motor and controller work? I think I might be missing a potentmeter. I didn't find the tow switch that is on the wiring diagram either. I am wanting to take only the parts I need to transfer them to a car transmission.

Get some pics up.

95 was pre-regen I or II.
It is a series cart and the pot is under the driver's side floor. However the location and cabling you describe sounds a little like a V-glide set up? That is the location for the V-glide used prior to 95 and after 96. You may have a half year model that is missing a V-glide?

If it is missing a solenoid can anyone tell me how it was wired. I figured if it was a solenoid there would have been at least a couple of 10 gauge wires. There are only 6 smaller wires similar to the size on tail lights. Can someone tell me how I can take the motor and whatever parts are absolutely necessary to get power to the motor and control the speed and direction in something like a bench test since I don't plan on leaving it on the cart anyway. I was thinking something like a Volkswagen 3 wheeler.

there should be no 10 gage wires mounted to solenoid.............you,ll have your two 6 gage cables and than the rest bolted to small terminals are gonna be either 14 or 16 gage but there should be no 10 gage..........................
