the batteries are new less than 1 month old, fully charged the reading across the bank is 45.3 - 48 . cart runs good but seems to lose power quicker than I think it should. The cart is new to me so I dont really know how to compare it.

Hmmm . . . less than 50v after a charge? . . . . . charge and report back individual battery readings, ie, voltage and SG on the cells . . . may have a bad one, even though new . . .

The pack voltage should be 50.93V at full charge. 48V is less than 50% charge. I don't know how you got a varible reading but if you read 45.3 then that is 0%.

Read the charge rates here. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...-readings.html

if thats a correct reading after a charge thats why light is blinking...............your reading should be a bit higher than that like in the 51 volt range...................so need to find out whats going on, who put batteries in?...................

It's an obc error code, not sure exactly what the code is. But it's likely you are going to need a new obc. Check to see if it is bringing the pack all the way up to 58-63 volts at full charging before cutting off.
The last thing you want to do right now is pair your new batteries with a bad charging system.

It could be just a warning that the "no load" voltage is below 48v . . . was this light illuminating after the 16 hour shut off charge cycle?

Need more info . . .
