Simple question - opportunity charges ok?
My kids are riding the heck out of their new cart. Is it okay to plug in the charger while they are taking breaks from riding to give the batteries extra charge to extend their ride time?

Your batteries will love it! Just give them a complete charge as soon as you can.

Thanks. I have read that you should not interrupt a charge until complete which does not make sense since they have no memory.

I think the underlying key is to always have your cart plugged in regardless of when it's being used. |

Nothing wrong with a quickie.
About 90% of a full charge occurs in the first hour or so. There are a lot of variables, but when the on-charge voltage reaches about 42V, the charge is about 90% complete. (Capacity rather than Time) |
