I do have a leak down tester. Glad you mentioned using air to hold the valves shut Thanks! That saves me a lot of tear down and gaskets!

So I changed valves seals on the cylinder that was clearly getting oil fouling. It worked!! Well....mostly. Smoke levels are WAY down. Rarely visible but still occasionally get the odor. I'm going to do the other cylinder and see if there is any further improvement.
BTW- using air pressure to hold the valves worked AWESOME! |
