Cart starts running as soon as key is turned on
I have 2016 EZ-go, as soon as I turn the key on the cart starts to move, I must turn key off to stop, just started doing this so asking where I should look first.

Either micro switch or solenoid

If solenoid, turning the key off wouldn't help. I would think stuck pedal switch.

He's in gas, so thinking gasser. But people have asked sparky question in here before.
Personally, I'd test pedal switch first. Or just disco it and see if it still does it. Those switches don't last forever. Try having a resistor CC with what seems like 10 of them to run the GO pedal...lol So, back to the OP's problem, can a solenoid stick open (on) like that? Seems like power to it would be dictated through the microswitch.. |

My brother just messed with his throttle cabling last week and had this problem. If I understand him correctly, the cable was too tight to let the pedal fully disengage to turn the engine off.
He was trying to get more speed out of his cart to keep up with mine. Don't think the throttle cable will take a cart from 18 to 35 mph to catch me. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
