I will be at my shop around 9am. Got to go to parts store. I may be looking wrong but it looks like your solenoid big posts are wired incorrect. Again I am not yet going this am. Need more coffee :)
Look at my 2003. It runs. Yet you said yours did. Anyway I will be at my shop in a few hours and look again. Tom |

My TXT did the same thing. Remove that entire plate that the coil, ignitor, etc. Are all mounted to. Use a wire brush and clean the bottom of the plate and the body where it mounts to really good. Clean the wire terminal and top part of the plate where it mounts to also. I see a lot of ruat there so the ground is not going to be good. Bad ground on that plate = bad spark. May not be your specific problem here, but definitely not helping anything.
And I would highly recommend throwing those Chinese spark plugs into the trash and getting NGK plugs. When I get those tune up kits off Amazon I dont even take them out of their shiny holographic little box, they go straight to the trash |

His is rusty, I do see that. I mentioned for him to put the old plugs back in. It was running before he changed them. Anyway I am outta here. Be back online in a few hours.

Plugs are supposed to be grounded to test for spark.

cart around is correct. Your cart looks like it is firing fine when you touch the bolt for valve cover

It ended up being a broken piece inside carburetor. New carburetor running perfect
|
