Default New to Cart ownership, need advice

Hey everyone, I am new to this forum. Thanks for hearing me out. I am moving to a location where I can drive a street legal cart to get to where I need to go. I've been looking around at carts but I am having a hard time deciding which route to go. The ezgo l6 keeps catching my eye but Im nervous about the factory top end speed being at 16.

Anyone have recommendations on brand, or whether used or new is the way to go?

New or used... Depends. Are you handy? If so, I would go used. Less expensive initial investment and you can modify it to your heart's content. If not handy and any modifications or repair work will be done by someone you hire, then new or used will work.

As for brand, you really can't go wrong with any of the big 3, Club Car, EZGO or Yamaha. If rust is a concern, then Club Car is the way to go, as their frames are aluminum.

Thanks, rust isnt a huge concern as I will keep it in the garage. For me my biggest concern is finding a cart that can do 23-28mph. I’m fairly handy as far as bolt ons. But when it comes to controllers I may be out of my league.
