Replacement LED’s for blinkers
Hey gents. Thanks for the add. I recently bought a 2008 Precedent and swapped out my headlights with LED’s to lower my amp draw. I know it’s frivolous but I’d like to switch out my blinkers to LED’s also. I’m pretty sure it’s a #184 bulb but when I search for LED replacements all I see is a #194. Has anyone done this swap out and lived to tell the truth? Thanks.

Re: Replacement LED’s for blinkers
Same base, it will work. 161, 168, 184, 194, and several others all have the same base but the size of the bulb and the wattage varies. When changing to an LED the wattage is much less of a concern, and 194 is probably the most common replacement size for all of those.
Your flasher relay may need to be replaced with a solid state relay if the blink rate is faster with the new LEDs. |
