CC DS, reverse only, single red LED blink

Series cart with Alltrax NPX. Right now the cart comes on and functions normally in reverse. Switch it over to F, and nothing, but I get a single red LED blink. This means throttle position over range...

I think the FNR switch is good, as I've had it apart and cleaned.
All wires from it check good on continuity. Resistance from the v-glide looks good at the wires into the controller (10k - 5k). All microswitches check out.

Any advice? Controller issue?

Code says throttle signal error. The throttle must work, because it works in reverse. The throttle signal passes through the third micro switch I think, where the micro switch changes the reverse signal to 1/2. Somehow that switch must not making contact in forward. Find a diagram in the stickies for your cart to make sure which micro switch it is.

I have the diagram. In forward there is only one microswitch being activated on the FNR. This is labeled as "3" on the diagram, and has a resistor in line to the controller number 2 post.

It just seems like they all check out....
Maybe just replace all the switches? They're cheap....

Simple test of the microswitch on the shift lever is to remove the white and green wires and just jump them together. If forward then works, the switch is bad.

Ok well I found an issue. Me. On the micro switch I had two wires reversed. Resistance checks out and wheels moving both directions.

Must have plugged them up wrong when I had apart and even phot documented it that way…..it’s hard being stupid sometimes.

Now the resistance checks out properly (5k-0 in F, and 10k-5k in R).

Well, just in case someone else has the same issue...I fixed it finally.
My ultimate problem ended up being the Alltrax NPX controller. Now replaced by an Alltrax SP48400.
I did have some old brittle wires that caused issues, but at the end the controller would sometimes light up and be normal, sometimes nothing, sometimes it would light up and work for a few seconds or minutes then blink out. I figure a bad or cracked solder joint on the circuit board. But, the unit is sealed in a rubbery goo so you aren't going to be repairing the board...
