1995 DS Series - Dead Spot in Throttle. Potentiometer?
I have a 1995 DS, 48V, that I just installed an Alltrax controller (500 amp). I had this issue with the previous controller (factory Curtis), but when the throttle is mid-position, the cart will "cut out" as if there is a dead spot in the potentiometer. Since mine is a 1995, it appears to be a 0-5k throttle (Scotty B set up the controller that way). It has a green and yellow wire going to the controller.
My question is, can I order a new potentiometer? I see a lot of info about the MCOR throttle, but I do not believe I have that system. What can I order and/or fix to remedy the situation? It is getting worse, and the Alltrax controller has exasperated the issue with the added throttle response. Thank you for the help. |
