Default muff bbq

after reading several posts i decided to bbq my muff . after taking it apart i can haer pecies moving around is this normal i dont think soooo

nope - either you have some loose carbon deposits in there, or you have a baffle / baffles that have come loose, possibly some chunks of rust, etc.

I'd go ahead and cook her good - if it's deposits you might just break them up with the heat, if it's baffles or ? you're at least not going to make anything worse, right?

i cut a window in the side and it is the baffels . all of them aloose and broken

Mine is loose also and not a major change in noise and you really don't notice it.If you can live with it I'd save the $160.00 they want for a new one. As stated LOUD PIPES SAVES LIVES

it may - my concern would be that if the baffles were moving around they could theoretically cause a blockage in exhaust flow and stall the cart (or possibly as in your case cause a backfire, etc) ...

and WGW, I'll remember that tonight on my way home from Bobby Rockets (I'm doing a simple sound gig so I'm taking the scoot) - I'll detour past your place and crack the wick JUST for you, shall we say around 3AM, hahahaha
