Valve adjustment help

I was trying to adjust the valves on my 4 stroke ezgo using the instruction I found here ( no guage). The adjuster screw just keep turning, will not stop.
What am I doing wrong?

Welcome.
Are the adjuster screw threads stripped? Did you loosen the lock nut? Have you ever adjusted valves before? How did you determine the piston for the valve you are adjusting is at TDC?
