steering problems with my txt
Having steering problems with my 98 txt
Just installed all new inner and outer tie rods and sleeves Stock height and stock wheels My problem is when i am on pavement and moving fairly quick the cart tends to dart and doent want to stay stright? When i add passagers on the rear seat it gets worse? I did the alignment be eye and everything looks stright and im running 22 psi in the tires |

Double check your alignment, it should toe in about a 1/16" to an 1/8".

Dial in some toe-in to quiet down the front wheels.

So when looking at it from the front they should turn toward each other or away?

Ok got it toe in would be pointing toward each other
Is their a way you guys do your alingment ? |

Tires pointing inward slightly. See picture for just one method to align tires. You want the front of the front tire measurement to be 1/8" less then the rear of the front tire.

When I changed my tie rods I had the same issue. After constantly trying to align in the garage to find them worse or no better - I kept the tie rod nuts loose, drove and adjusted as I went about 25 yards, kept adjusting till straight, then tightened nuts. Seemed to be easier for me that way.
