Default '01 Carryall 1....should I?

SO I BOUGHT A 2001 Carryall and is there any reasons you guys recommend building this as an off road buggy? I heard this might already have a locker rear end in it, true? I picked it up for a grand and it just needs a few cosmetics and the rear frame cross-member re welded. I wish I would have bought this before the 95 I'm building now because its already got the clockwise rotation motor in it and I want to upgrade to an fe400.
I'll post some pics tomorrow, but it looks like I can use any DS lift for it. Can anyone verify that too? Thanks for the help.

CTD, that's hot. My wheel base doesn't look any longer than a ds cart. Except for the different rear diff and hd leafs, they are the same. And I want to put on a 6" all-sport lift twin a-arm lift rather than spindles. I've only seen spindle lifts listed for carryalls cuz I know some of them have front brakes and mine doesn't.

Thanks!
I'm definitely gonna make a go of it, but I hope someone can still ring in and give me more info on the rear end. If it is a locker then I might just go all out.

It's to my understanding that carryall II, and carryall II+'s had a rear locker, and the carryall I did not!

I could be wrong though!
