Install LED Neon lights on Gas CC?

I've caved-in to my sons. So, as I begin my search for LED lights to mount under the body and under the dash (and maybe even on the underside of the roof) of our 2007 Precedent Gas, I've viewed via search and cannot locate a recommended install procedure.

We want to install lights that can operate off of a switch or a controller, and have a few questions:
* Should we place a small (sealed) battery in the glovebox to run the lights?
* Alternatively, is it advisable to splice into one of the existing wires?
* Other recommendation?

If able to help by posting pictures of how you installed yours, that would be great. Thanks!

i run LED's on my cart, i have the whites undeneath the body, and blue strip up under the dash.....
i ran an independent wire from the battery to a relay, and then to a switch, located by my choke. my buddy said they are such a low draw,that i could have bypassed the relay with a 10 amp inline fuse.

Super simple hook up also, two hires red and black, add inline fuse to the red wire and you are good to go. I used zip ties to hold the lights to the frame.

A gas cart has a starter/generator so you can hook the lights straight to the battery.

CRK: Purchased.

The package is supposed to arrive next week, and I'm trying to have installation completed (in our unheated garage) before the big SantaLand Parade (SantaLandParade.com) in 2 weeks.
