how do you get the front cover off a DS
I need to take my 94 club Ds front body off can you give me the steps to do this it looks like it slides into the alum. trim that goes around the dash. if you have a pic of the screws that hold it that would help thanks.

There are 4-6 small common slotted screws holding the aluminum trim on. They are accessible from the in and back side of the trim. They screw into little sliding nuts in the trim piece. Removal is easier than re-installing.

I agree with Jake and Scotty. You'll also want to remove the front bumper via the two bolts you can see sticking through it, they have a Phillips head and the nut on the back is 7/16 or 1/2, I don't remember exactly which. Once the front bumper is removed you'll see two black plastic retainers holding the body to the top of the bumper bracket. These may or may not be broken, I think they are there to allow the body to flex and not break in an impact. I usually replace them with short bolts when I put the body back on.

Don't worry if you take the aluminum trim piece completely off. I just use some rtv silicone to hold those sliding nuts in place. Very easy.
