What's the best engine swap for a 2010 ezgo rxv
I just bought a 2010 ezgo rxv with a bad engine. What the best way to replace it or upgrade.....please help

Is the cart lifted? Vanguard V Twins are great, but I don't know if this works in the RXV. Call and talk to Tom.

You might also look at vegascarts.com.They sell complete swap kits for honda clones.Look in clone section here for what members are doing.

I concur that ditching the original Kawi motor for something better is a good move, however You're going to have to pull the rear end apart and remove the plastic governor gears for SURE if You upgrade - they're more than prone to failure on stock carts and would likely grenade a lot faster with any type of higher-rpm powerplant.

I have a 2008 RXV Gas and I am in the process of put a vegas carts 625cc engine in it. What is this plastic governor gears you are talking about? Thanks |
