Default 2004 EZGO TXT - Running Issues

I have a 2004 EZGO TXT. It takes off and runs fine, but once I slow down and push on the gas it just doesn't want to take off. It slowly accelerates and then gets back up to speed. Once at top end speed it runs perfectly fine. I checked the compression in both cylinders and it was in the 150s. I redid the fuel lines all the way from the gas tank to the pump to the carburetor. I have tried pulling the choke a little bit as suggesting other threads on here and that seems not to make a difference.

Any thoughts on what I can do next?

Put it on blocks and lift the seat up and run it wide open watch the clutches belt should ride to the top of primary and sink to the bottom of secondary in a smooth fashion

Stupid question but what does that have to do with it not wanting to accelerate when I slow down the then push the gas back in.

If the clutches are not down shifting when you slow down, Its like trying to accelerate your car in high gear!

A weak or failed spring in the secondary clutch would cause exactly that symptom.

Ok so I ran it in neutral a few times and the motions seems smooth however the clutch doesn't seem to engage until well after the motor is running. I am guessing this may be where the hesitation is. Any ideas what that could be?

Post a vid here of both clutches with rpm's going up and then down.

We will be looking to see if they down shift as rpms come down.

The clutch seem to be working just fine from what I see.

Any thought on what else it might be then? As stated it takes all perfectly fine right off the bat and drives awesome, it's just when I go to turn around and have to slow down and then when I push on the throttle again it takes forever to get back up to speed.
