Re: HD 3B 1977 D Wire's
Second, those starters are perhaps the most common ones in the old cart world. They can be rebuilt but, to be honest, a new one is just north of $100 so, personally, I would just buck up for a new one. This one on Amazon will work. I am not suggesting to buy this one. I am only posting the link for reference:

Re: HD 3B 1977 D Wire's
OEM part number for the solenoid is 71580-75. This is an extremely common part. If you just google "12v continuous duty solenoid" you will find a ton of hits. Make sure you get a continuous duty solenoid, though, and not an intermittent one. "Continuous duty" means that it is built to have current flowing through it all times when the cart is running. "Intermittent duty" means that current flows through then only during starting.
It does NOT appear as if the solenoid on you cart is the right one as it only has 3 terminals on it. |

Part number for the circuit breaker is 74592-68. To be honest, that's nothing but a 15 amp fuse. I just use something like this but with a 15 amp fuse:

Sorry, I keep going back to your older entries. Regarding your switch, it will work when jumping those two wires going into it.

Your diagram has the answer to this. If your cart isn't wired like the diagram says then it must be gone over. "Hot" must go from the battery + to the left most solenoid terminal when you are looking down on it like in to diagram.
