Default Eco battery app

I was wondering if anyone has heard about the app coming out? There are a couple of post on here where it’s says 60 to 90 days and those were a couple of months ago. If and when the app comes out, what benefit would it be to everyone? Is this something that could improve performance? I currently have a 2004 ds stock controller with the 51v 105ah eco installed. Love the performance and improved speed. Currently getting 25 mph on lifted cart. Also, I heard that you need to calibrate the gauge. I have the gen 2 battery and the new gauge. How do I do this? Hope everyone is enjoying theirs as much as I do so far.

I doubt it will improve performance but I suppose anything is possible.

My guess is it will allow you more access to the BMS and the data on it.
That being said if it allows you to adjust any setpoints in the BMS you could in theory get some more performance but depending on how tightly they have the settings set would be at risk of damaging the battery if changed too much.

I have the Gen 2 gauge as well and I don't believe any calibration is needed.

I just got off the phone with the Eco guy, forgot his name, wasn’t Dallas but said the App will be very soon like a week or two for android anyway but a little longer for Apple. From what I read the gauge will calibrate on its own after the first complete charge. I also just received the newest 105 bundle and excited about the install and participating on Tom’s Lithium Battery Comments thread.

Stopped by today and chatted with the Eco gang; they are very close but are not willing to release it until they are 100% happy with it.

And if any of you are sitting on the fence they just announced this (pic) until the end of the month

Wondering the same thing. I was told it was due to be released in a couple of weeks when I installed my battery in July. We're way past a coupld of weeks.

They have said it many times, fellas; they are working on it and will release it when they are 100% satisfied with it. I know it is not impacting my life in any way by not having it yet, and I would rather have it delivered right when they do release it. I have to respect their decision to keep working on it instead of providing an early release, only to be followed by updates for bug fixes later (like so many others do).

My .02 Go enjoy Christmas and the holiday season; the app will come :)

Still looking for the app, did they give up, or can I not find it?
