Broken Rear Arm and best lift kit
I have a 2021 Yamaha Drive2 PTV Powertech AC with rear independent suspension. The rear suspension arm broke (I believe the part is: J0S-F2171). It seems that its backordered for at least two months from Yamaha . Considering that I don't want to be without my cart for that long, I was thinking instead of waiting for the part, I could order and install a Jake's Long Travel lift kit, with the adapter for the rear independent suspension.
I called Plowman's, and it seems they don't carry Jake's Long Travel kits anymore because of poor turning radius. Does anyone have any experience and can suggest the best lift kit for the Yamaha Drive2 Powertech with Rear IS? My main goal is to have a really smooth ride. I care much more about how smooth and well controlled the ride is, than the look or height of the lift. I have an upgraded Navitas controller, so it has a top speed of 34 MPH, though I rarely go that. |
