Good for you, Michael. Good luck with the new job.

I, not only got my score card clipboard painted to match the cart, but I got my "Bama" armrests on the rear seat handles.

Now, my cooling fan should be in tomorrow or Wednesday.

Gornoman ~ That thing is a beast.... Bigger heat sink is a bonus, eh? Hopefully, that will help you avoid whatever the cause was on the other one? I find it odd that you could race it and then, many months later, smoke it putzing along (or is there a rest of the story?) . That's the quirks of a hotrod Electric cart Have I told you about the CC I'm gonna collecting parts 4 ?

Meant to ask you guys about the signal I got when rinsing off my cart this past weekend. Water must have gotten on the new solenoid because while rinsing, the high pitched signal started sounding off. I started looking around for where it was coming from. I lifted the seat and saw that it was coming from the controller/solenoid. There was lots of moisture on it. I bent down and blew the water off and it stopped. Okay, now I suppose I need to find something to shelter it from the water running down onto the set up since I cut the cover up on the install.

Took out my 10000k HID bulbs and put in 8000k HID bulbs not as blue more super white. I also put in my new battery meter.

Scottyb, thanx for the controller! Great service!

Nope, it happened just as I described, crawling out of it's parking space in the garage, nice and slow. Keep in mind, heat damage is cumulative on electronics. This stuff can only take so much. Lots of hills in our campground, and driving through deep snow is probably not good for it either. It served me well, but now it's big brother is installed. Let's RACE!

SR, Alltrax told me there are no beeps or signals coming from their units. No speaker or transducer involved, so whatever was howling was NOT the controller.

I worked on my oldie EZ Go today. I installed a EMP 2 speed motor several months ago but never got it running. Its rolling today. Ran real good at 48volts. I hooked in a couple more 6v batteries making it 60v total but have to charge them tonight and test ride tomorrow. Wahooooo, glad I finally found my wiring problem and correct. Problem was a bad ground on the solenoid circuit.
