ya there both set perfectly to .004", checked the timing belt and its all good. charged the battery and still nothing

got it to run, the starter belt was hella sliping but now when u hit the gas it revs high almost to the rev limiter and slowly takes off from there. wheres it used to just take off like a bat out of hell. i think its somthin in the rear end but i dont want to just strart tarin it apart, what do u guys think.

there is a secondary clutch on the rear end...maybe the belt is slipping.

You can find out about compression testing in the service manual (in the tech section) Can you give us an idea about what has happen to this cart (brief history)? you seem to have multiple problems that don't seem related.

i picked it up a year ago, me and the guys have just been fooing around with it and slowly the starting problem got worse, put a new air filter and it fixed it for a while, then it just up and stoped. now that it works again, i think that from all the driving done on it it messed up the mesh in the rear end because the belts aren't sliping and it makes a grinding sound withch ads to the fact that there probly not meshing. the cart is just fool around off road toy, rock climbing, jumps, and all around fun is preaty much what we do with it. Yes we ride it hard but we take care of it the best that we can.
