mcor/ speed control
just put in mcor 4 cci 105116301 part number and a new speed control part number 400a EZ NPX4844/0-5K NOW CART will only go full throttle or stop basically 1 speed mcor was adjusting speeds normally until the speed control went south BTW. THE SAME EXACT PART NUMBER SPEED CONTROLLER is what I installed. it will jump screech tires and take off and run as long as I keep feathering the pedal it will stay running and pick up speed or stop unless I keep feathering the accelerator or stop and when I press down about a inch same thing. happens rips out and I gotta let off pedal everything on the speed control was down to the tee 1 wire at a time pictures b4 and after while installing.

Re: mcor/ speed control
To scotty or TahoeDawg--For 95 micor, doesn't he need a 5k-0 throttle signal at the controller and what's the "EZ" about? Wrong controller??

Throttle Input (Factory Programmed):
•ITS (inductive) •Resistive 0-5K ohm (+/-10%) (2-Wire) •Resistive 5K-0 ohm (+/-10%) (3-wire) Ordered wrong, Plus no cart info, plus why are so many parts going bad, |

Re: mcor/ speed control
1995 Elmco club car. 48 volt Did the mcor with the part Tahoe dawg said I needed. Just needed it sooner that's another story sending Tahoe dawg a silver dollar from our store for postage I o him Tahoe was very fair. Was working fine until speed control finally played out it was already known to be going bad, put in exact same speed control a new one same part. Now it's either on or off. When ya hit pedal. Btw it's not a programmable. Speed control. THX for the ideas. BTW. Mcor 4 was the conversion from the
Original that is no less Nio longer made |

Re: mcor/ speed control
I was wondering if the controller needs to be sent to Alltrax to be reprogramed for the Micro 4 throttle input. It might explain a lot of trouble. TahoeDawg or ScottyB would know for sure. Or contact Alltrax phone 541-476-3565 email: info@alltraxinc.com

Re: mcor/ speed control
If You want to keep that controller You will need to use the correct side of the MCOR to get a 0-5kΩ range.
Looking at a previous thread it looks like You replaced a 3 wire potentiometer. If You look at the MCOR, it has 3 wires, locate the purple wire, it should have been connected to B- before. Connect the Purple to throttle 1.You can also measure the resistance off those wires to make sure I have the colors right. From: Yellow to Green (Pedal up = 6kΩ - Pedal Down: 0.5kΩ) From: Yellow to purple (Pedal up = 0.5kΩ - Pedal Down: 6kΩ) From Green to Purple ( Pedal up = Pedal down = 6kΩ = no change) If You post the actual resistance readings, we can use that to fine tune the range later if needed. |
