Default g1 new carb

1985 g1 I need a new carb and was wondering what the ebay ones i see from $20 to $80 are they all the same or what to get? my old one is long gone

They are all the same make sure to give it a good cleaning before installing it

Some have to use the jets out of the old carb to run the best some don't, or you can buy jets if they are wrong.

Original carbs for these can still be found but they are $300 which most folks, including me, don't want to spend. The other ones are all from China so you may as well use price to decide. Heck, get two or three. If one doesn't work throw it out and try another.

I tell this story a lot but last year I put a China carb on my G1 and, though it ran, I couldn't get it to run right even after hours of fiddling with it. I finally just ponied up and installed another China one and the cart has run great since.
