New seat hardware question
Ok I am recovering my seat. However te board was so rotted I needed to make another. What are the fasteners called that bolt the handles on? They are some kind of nut anchor. Where can i buy them and can I get stainless:)

Re: New seat hardware question
If it looks like this, It's a T-nut. I dont know if you will find it in stainless? My local hardware store has them in steel zinc only.

Re: New seat hardware question
I'm going to have to replace my seat back as well. I think the zinc T-nut's should hold up just fine.

Re: New seat hardware question
Zinc coated will be fine. BE SURE not to use plain t-nuts in treated wood as the wood treatment will rust non coated harware in no time.
