compression for 295cc
forgot to ask, what is a good compression reading for a 1994 marathon 295cc engine. Ive got 120 lbs on both cylinders

That is about the bottom limit of service. Have you adjusted the valves? That may help.

Very good compression for that motor is between 145 and 165
