Angry have to choke every time

We have a 94 ezgo 4cyl and we have to choke it everytime to start and sometimes we have to take the spark plug out crank and and put the spark plug back in we are going to try the valve adjustment tomorrow anymore suggestions and what is the compression?

Sounds like carb/fuel-pump issues.If it looses prime you will have to choke it alot.Removing the plug allows it to crank faster.I would pull the fuel-line at the carb,aim it into a container(make sure the spark-plug is installed and connected or you'll need more than a small repair!---BOOM!!!)crank the engine and check flow,if its' very slow and weak,the pump is likely due for a rebuild.The compression should be at minimum 90psi per cyl.I'm not sure of the actual spec.Really low compression,due to worn rings or a valve-issue(bad-valve/seat) will cause a pump-pulse issue.Hope this helps.

compression should be between 120-150, but will crank with as low as 90 as pachanga stated...another thing you can try if above does not work would be to jet the carb...
