![]() I thought the deal was "in order to be from Jake's it's gotta say Jake's on it."

![]() Did some research and don't see Jakes anywhere. Also had the previous owner fax me some paperwork on the cart. ( Glad I apologized to Jakes ) Lift came from Buggies Unlimited.
my cart 007.jpg If you enlarge the pic and see the s in the word spring, the bar that attaches right there , well that's the weld that gave out.Looked like a pretty crappy weld. It wont come loose again , not when I'm done welding her *** up. Just showing this , sure there are plenty of these lifts out there, and maybe they should be checked , I had to hike back to the house and grab the tractor ..ugh ... I hate walking, not fun when you don't have a functioning kidney. |

![]() That's the exact same front end I have on my cart, it's not the best for heavy duty off-roading - it's too stiff and doesn't allow for enough front end flex at all - and I only do MILD off-roading. Plus it's a pain to get it to line up and stay that way. I hope to upgrade to this: http://www.cartpartsplus.com/club-car-lift-mjfx as soon as I can.
My prediction is with heavy off-roading that you'll be patching that lift up again sometime in the future. I made the mistake of buying that model and wish I hadn't - oh well, we live and learn... |
