Any suggestions about polishing aluminum that is dull and bumpy?

Lots of guys use mag wheel cleaner, I've never used it but they say it makes the aluminum look like new.

You can buy Aluminum Brightner. Its an acid based liquid that you spray on and rinse of. It works great, used it on my frame. Not as good as polishing but way easier.

Before. Sorry its upside down. I buy it at auto zone. Comes in a gallon jug and I think is around $13. Just need a good spray bottle then.

If it is regular aluminum brightener the chemical term for it is hydrofluoric acid. It does a great job but----be very careful using it. It is easily absorbed into the skin and it is deadly if you are exposed enough. I used the stuff every day in my work. Use gloves and try and keep it off your face. Trust me--
