2005 MPT 1200 lift question
I have owned this 05 workhorse MPT 1200 over three years and never noticed until I have it in my shop that the brake cable is hitting on the bottom and hanging some. It has a 4 inch lift kit on it I think.
I seem to have read where people move these to the top and just turn the back plate over. Is this correct or does the cable work better on the bottom ? |

I have flipped the back plates from one side to the other in order to move the brake actuator from the bottom to the top. Makes no difference in operation of the brakes. You might find some interference with the lift hardware, but you can make it fit and it will work fine. Definitely lifts the cables up higher. |

Anyway thanks. I will swap sides with the backplates and flip over. |

Re: 2005 MPT 1200 lift question
Depending on how the rear was lifted it might not work. Mine has block lifts and will hit the brake actuator so have to have mine on the bottom.

Looks like mine. If the cables are up top they would hit the blocks.
