a dead 1976 EZ GO.. whats wrong? Isn't that kinda like asking what killed the 110 year old woman?

If it clicks, then the electrical up to the solenoid is good, see if the solenoid is working, test continuity on that click.

Past that I'm not entirely sure where to go, all I could say to do is follow the wires from the battery eventually something will be bad.

Make sure that the contacts on the forward/reverse switch are clean and that the wires on the studs are tight and clean. Also, check the brushes in the starter... they are under the dust cover in the middle of the flywheel. The cover is circled in red in the picture below. Click on it to enlarge it.

Try disconnecting your choke cable and see if it works OK by hand. If so, you can just buy a new cable. If not, I've got an old carb for an 87. If they are the same and if the spring can be removed, I can send you the choke spring.

This goes along with NetMXer's idea... my choke cable was sticky for a while too. I just squirted some oil into the tube where the choke handle goes into and that fixed it!

Hey Thanks For The Help.
The Choke Cable Is Ok, The Problem Is The Choke Shaft Is To Loose In The Carb. So It Sticks When Opening And Closing
(i Think Its Missing A Bushing Or Something).

Could Someone Help Me With The Clutch,
It Rattles When Starting & Stopping.(its Ok When Running)
Are They Fixable Or Do I Have To Replace It.
Can Someone Show Me A Pic. Of The Insides Of The Clutch?

Thanks, Dew

A rattly clutch when starting and stopping means the bushings are worn. Parts are not made for these clutches... unfortunately, replacement is the only option.

Here is a pic of the inside of my 77's clutch:

It too rattled like yours. I purchased a used one and all is good.

This is a thread I made when I replaced my clutch:
