85 calls for 2 different resistor coils. Which one do you have? Is the coil all the way in back or right in the middle of the cart.

I'm also curious what kind of cart i have. the sticker says textron B2285 im think its a 1985 but i looked online and it said that if its a if its an 85 its a marathon and it will have a metal body. if its a textron it has a plastic body. it does have a metal body. Just curious so when i buy parts.

Check this out - it is the Marathon Driver's Club. Does your cart look like these?

Textron owns Ezgo. Also some times people put 2001 parts on a 1985 cart..Sometimes, they don't always fit
