Default Pack Voltage..different readings

03 PDS 36v, Alltrax xct500, admiral b2 motor..

5 batteries read 6.20v and one reads 6.24 volts..37.24 with digital multimeter
Pack voltage according to Monitor on Alltrax controller..36.7v

Is this normal or is something wrong? Last night while creeping through woods cart made 1 quick beep and stopped for a split second..got back on the throttle and moved like nothing happened.

Going slow can overheat the controller and motor.

Default Re: Pack Voltage..different readings

If the voltage readings were observed when the cart was sitting still without pedal being pressed, the 0.6V difference is normal.

The voltage shown on the Toolkit monitor screen and recorded in the data logs is the voltage between the XCT's B- and B+ terminals, which is the pre-charge voltage stored on the filter capacitors and will be a bit lower that the voltage measured between the battery pack's B- and B+ terminals while the solenoid contacts are open and very close to the same when the solenoid is energized.

------------
If possible, connect laptop to XCT and record a data log when creeping through the woods and if it stops and beeps again, the log may show why.

What is your tire height and type?
