Default g29 rear tire rubbing, one side only?

I just received and installed a set of 14' RX350 wheels with RHOX RXLP 225/30R14 tires.

I selected this combination because at 19.3" diameter, it fits on carts without a lift kit.

Today I installed it and noticed that on the rear, the right side is rubbing while the left has plenty of clearance. Is there any adjustment on the axle that I can make? How do I check the rear body to see if it has some give?

Check the panhard rod at the rear of the cart, I bet it's been bent by backing into a solid object, or being used as a jack point. That will pull the whole rear suspension toward the driver's side, and cause just what you describe on the passenger side. If it is bent, but not kinked, it can be just straightened, or replaced

Thank you CGtech. Do you by chance know what the part # is?

So it looks pretty straight to me... Any other ideas?

Left rear

Right rear

Nope, bar looks straight. But those wheels look like wheels i would have in the "doesn't fit" category.

I pin the mud flaps to the bumper, and you will likely have to trim at the front too.

This looks like what always happens with wheels that are too big on ydr. I don't think you have anything wrong with the cart itself.

Not sure how clear it is from the pictures, but the other side has plenty of clearance. There has to be something that is a little oout of whack.

Yes, the tires are on the border of what fits without a lift kit, but all my research indicates that anything below 20” in diameter should fit with our rubbing, and these are 19 and change...

Which is why I believe something is a little off somewhere.

Nope, the passenger side is always the first side to exhibit problems with larger wheels. If you get too set on "it must be something on the cart, not my oversized wheels" you will be chasing your tail, and I won't spend too much time helping anyone chase their tail. Maybe someone else?

Get ready to start trimming and pinning like I suggested. Or get different wheels.

Ok. Thanks for the insight. So I guess a lift kit is in the cards. Which is the best one in terms of maintaining turning radius?

I battled the same thing with my 14” wheels. I pinned and cut the plastic. I also added hd springs and went with a 2” Yamaha lift just for the clearance. Now it is great.
