Default Battery light

Working on a Club Car DS series drive. Serial number AA01****. OBC went out so I have bypass it, and got MODZ charger. My question is will the battery light work with the OBC bypassed.

I have a Modz Max48 charger and love it.
Been using it a couple of months with no issues.
The battery light is controlled by the OBC.
It is probably not that good an indicator anyway, get a good digital voltmeter, some come with a status bar.
I put one of these in, working fine so far, $14 on Amazon.

Thanks R&T. That was my plan to install a digital volt meter was just wondering if the factor light would still work. I looked at the wiring diagram it shoes a brown wire coming from the ODC to one side of the light and one from the key switch to the other side so I don't think it will work with the bypass.

The OBC controls the battery light. The light is really not all that useful anyway. Get a real digital voltmeter (not the bar graph gauge) and make sure the operator knows the low voltage threshold to stop driving the cart.

Thanks Fairtax. I will order from a site sponsor. I never did think it was much to that battery light.

Does that meter let you adjust/customize the voltage levels that represent each bar in the graph or is it hard-coded in the meter?
