88 /89 marathon spirit wiring question
Ok group, need some help with a wiring question. I have a 88 spirit basket case that is mostly together. I can't figure out the wiring on the factory(I think) harness. See pic below. The is a 10/12 gauge wire with a ring terminal and cut off 12 gage wire that I don't know where they go. I don't see them on the diagram. They come out of the braid on the drivers side in front of the muffler. Anybody know their purpose? Pic below.

Use your meter to determine if they have voltage, or go to ground. I see your solenoid has an extra wire on the large lug.

I've checked every wire I can find and I can't find where it goes. Its not grounded and its not hot. Thinking it must be for an accessory that isn't used.

That red wire with the black heat shrink connected to the large lug of the solenoid. Where does it go?
