Cool 1996 DCS to PDS

Bought this 96 DCS cart and am in the process of making it a PDS cart. Got everything wired. I put the PQ PDS motor out of my 04 cart along with stock controller in it. Have to put the seat back on it and buy some batteries for it and it's ready to roll.

I bought the PDS wiring from EZGO.com they have all the wiring you need to do this made it a lot easier than splicing wires. I also used a Club Car F/R switch mounted on the body so it's easier to reach. I will be adding my 4 chip wiring harness today and installing the batteries and seats. Should be running by tonight I hope.

This was what I started with.

Cutout all the old battery tray and installed new.

PQ PDS motor with shaved magnet.

Wiring harnesses for the controller.

Neat swap. I like the f/r switch.

Cool Re: 1996 DCS to PDS

Terry wasn't nothing to it after getting all the right connectors.

The DCS and PDS connectors are all different. Once I had them I was good to go. The body had the nice big round hole where the E-Z-GO F/R switch went so it was simple to install. I think it will be nice not having to strech out to reach the dash.

That's what I was thinking too. That switch location would be much better.
