Default GX420 valve train upgrade pics.

Just received my parts from Geoff at Vegas Carts and got to work on replacing the stock stuff for new 32lb (35lb when using stock valves) valve springs, and 1.3 ratio rocker arms made by Parsons Racing.

I haven't got around to installing the timing key...I will most likely hold off until I pull the head for milling and porting.

Runs great! Nothing extremely noticeable power wise...but the motor feels more responsive and the motor seems to not mind revving to 5000+rpms now.

I plan on doing this not got around to ordering them. They say a little more top end. I have 4 degree key and .050 cut but stock clutch is wanting to partially engage at low rpm and spark knock a second and sometimes it poofs when starting hot. Thinking about the situation right now but not liking it. New clutch will fix the knock issue but not the starting. But doubt the rockers will matter for that. Was hoping you would notice a little more power but I know in cars high ratio does not help that much either, just enough to notice. But thats about all you can do for stock cam and I can't do a motor build right now lol.
